Emotions are fragile monuments – born from fire, shaped by time, and always on the verge of breaking.
This bronze torso, cast from a sculpture of cracked clay, carries within it the memory of its own fragility. Every fissure remembers the tension of the earth that once held it together. Some fragments seem ready to fall away – as if one wrong movement, one breath too heavy, and she would collapse into dust.
Yet it is in this almost-breaking that her beauty lives.
The bronze, meant to be eternal, still bears the trembling of the clay – a quiet echo of human vulnerability.
She stands between strength and disintegration, between endurance and surrender.
So are our emotions:
they can lift us into radiance or bring us to our knees; they can bind us together or fracture us beyond repair. Love, fear, hope, and loss – each leaves a mark, each becomes a crack that both weakens and reveals.
Sometimes, it is the fracture that allows the light to enter – and the near-collapse that makes the soul truly visible.
