I C A R U S

This sculpture is a tribute to and admiration for the unparalleled and extraordinary art of Leonardo da Vinci. The Icarus was carved from oak wood, then burnt and brushed. The wings are crafted from steam-bent oak wood, covered with cotton fabric, natural leather straps, jute rope, and steel elements.
